Karibu River Retreat is adjacent to unlimited kilometers of bushroads & tracks suitable for quadbike riding as well as 2 wheelers and side by sides.

We offer to take our guests on a guided family outride to show them the environment, bushroads and tracks that are accessible for riding.

Outrides vary in distance according to the requirements of our guests. (The weather can be a determining factor.)

One of our favourite routes is +/- 160km. This takes about 4 - 6 hours to complete. A more technical 100km outride takes about 4 hours to complete. Routes are varied to keep it interesting!

Planned stops make it enjoyable for guests to quench their thirst, have a bite to eat or take a smoke break. Sometimes we stop at the local spaza shops or on route home at a local shebeen where we are always welcomed by the friendly locals. Unplanned stops are sometimes required for repairs and it is advisable to take precautions for a flat tyre and other minor repairs.

We request that your bike should be in a good working condition before venturing out on the outride.

The minimum safety requirements for the outride are your goggles and helmets.

Fee:

• R 300 per bike/quad for 2 x bikes
• R200 per bike/quad for 3 or 4 bikes
• R100 per bike/quad for 5 or 6 bikes

Booking and prior- arrangements are essential for the outride.
